There are two different SharePoint Online plans, with creative names of “SharePoint Online Plan 1” and “SharePoint Online Plan 2”. These are useful if you don’t need the other Office 365 services such as Exchange and Skype for Business (previously Lync).
Microsoft have a page – SharePoint Online Service Descriptions – that lists out the features available across all plans. But sometimes you just want to know what the difference is between two plans.
