Microsoft has officially announced the release dates for its next-generation Office suite, Office 2010, which is all set to hit the RTM, and business customers can get their hands on the same on May 13, while other consumers will have to wait till June rolls in.
The release dates have been confirmed for Office 2010 supersuite, SharePoint 2010, Project 2010 and Visio 2010 by Microsoft.
The entire family of the next-gen suite will hit the RTM in the coming month, and this will be followed by an exclusive release to Australian business customers on May 13 (May 12 in America).
The other customers, however, will have to wait a bit longer, and Microsoft has shared that "for consumers, Office 2010 will be available online and on retail shelves in June".
The beta version of Office 2010 will continue to remain available for download at office. com/beta, and anyone purchasing Office 2007 between March 5 and September 30 would be eligible for a free upgrade.
